How are computers helpful in physical therapy?

Computers are one of the greatest inventions ever. They have helped so many people and business in many different ways. Physical therapy (PT) is one of the many businesses that computers have helped. Physical Therapists use computers for many reasons. One of the uses that physical therapists use computers for is scheduling and keeping records on file. They have programs that will record the appointments set for patients. These programs they use can also store information about the patient such as personal information, and procedures being used on them.

Another way computers are useful to physical therapists is for billing purposes. The use of computers help them to bill insurance companies. They may also need email to write to insurance companies about policies or procedures involving the patient.
