Physical therapy is the use of exercises and physical activities to help condition muscles
and restore strength and movement. Physical therapy is often used to regain movement due to damage done from strokes, accidents,
surgerys or other diseases. Treatments include but are not limited to use of heat, exercises, massage, cold, water or electricity.
Physical therapy is not limited to humans. Animals could require physical therapy too. The same types of
treatments are availablle for pets. Usually pets need therapy after operations. For example, lets say a dog gets hit by a
car. That dog will need physical therapy after the surgery that fixed the broken bones. Just as a human, he will
need help learning how to walk again.
